Communication between the mangament and staff: staff and management are communicating with each other on different levels and in different ways. The management needs to be approachable and needs to communicate openly about their decisions. The staff should be able to communicate their ideas to the management on different levels: at the coffee machine, but also in fixed meetings.
Open and good communication between parents and the school.
High level of coöperation between teachers: teachers work together, are willing to learn from each other.
Good student follow-up: when something is the matter with a pupil, the problem is discovered as early as possible and if necessary teachers and staff are informed about it at an early stage so they can adapt their behaviour towards a student or so that they can pay close attention to the student. Pupils feel noticed and have different options to ask for help (a mentor, a teacher assigned to (health) care, any random teacher).
